5/26/2017 0 Comments Exhibition EveningExhibition night was really fun but presenting was a bit scary, but we made it all threw the night. I felt quite good about my presentation because I thought I did very well and the audience seamed to enjoy it as well. But if I were to do it again I would memorize my whole script and not just a little paragraph. My favorite part of exhibition was probably getting our slides ready to present to the school because it was quite weird because the smart board was glitching very badly. My action plan is to volunteer at the Bragg Creek and Area Wellness Committee I will make this happen by emailing Eric Howey asking him to talk with his employees and see if I can come in and help. A little piece of advice for the next years grade 5 exhibition is make sour that your smart board works before you present to a crowd.

This week I have worked on getting deeper into my research and had more meetings with our mentor, Mrs. Hoff. I have learned this week how to manage my work in columns depending on what key concept questions they are related to. Next I need to finish my answers for my key concept questions and move onto the presentation. I have asked so many questions but one of them I asked was what do I need to do differently. The positive attitudes I show are appreciation and empathy. I used the skills of reading, writing, and learning to collect my research. I feel things are going very well almost every one in my group stay on task. 5/3/2017 0 Comments April 18, 2017Week one
During these first few days I have joined the disabilities group and met our mentor Mrs. Hoff. We started researching and I have learned a lot but one thing that stood out to me was what my friend said that her topic (obesity) means people that have more body fat around their waist than others. Next I will continue researching then get our slides ready to present. I have asked quite a few questions such as why is this happening, when did this start, what are people doing about it, where did this start, how did this start. The positive attitudes I showed are respect from taking in ideas and talking about them with my group, and enthusiasm because I am enjoying researching about mental disabilities. I feel things are going very well because we are all getting along and finding ways to fix mistakes. |
